Cysic Network Phase II: Genesis Node Testnet Officially Closed

Cysic Network is a ZK-proof layer that hyperscales the ZK revolution. The main purpose of it is using Cysic’s leading CUDA and ASIC development, and the computing resources from the community, to expedite the ZK proof generation and settlement for all ZK projects. The speed and low cost of proof generation and the easiness of proof settlement are the main advantages of using the Cysic network. The users of Cysic Network are awarded Cysic tokens for their contributions.

A Milestone Achieved — Phase II Concludes

Phase II of the Cysic Network Testnet: Genesis Node has successfully concluded, marking a major milestone on our path to Phase III and the mainnet launch. With over 557,676 wallet addresses registered — an impressive half-million participants — we’ve demonstrated strong growth and community adoption, setting the stage for the next phase of our journey.

From November 19, 2024, to March 2025, Phase II was a transformative period for Cysic Network. Our Prover and Verifier ecosystem saw a massive surge in participation, with thousands of high-performance Provers actively contributing and Verifier contributions increasing by 1000%. The launch of our mobile app on Google Play made it easier for users to contribute to the network, verify proofs, and participate seamlessly from their devices.

A key milestone was the introduction of our dual-token model — $CYS for transactions and$CGT for governance — allowing users to stake, delegate, and earn rewards, strengthening network participation. At the same time, our community-driven Referral Program helped onboard more than 285,000 new users, driving mass adoption.

What We Built and Tested in Phase II

Phase II was about pushing boundaries, refining mechanisms, and laying the foundation for a robust, decentralized compute network. A few major developments took center stage:

Expanding the Network with Provers and Verifiers

A key component of Cysic Network’s decentralization is the validation of compute integrity by our Provers and Verifiers. In Phase II, we saw impressive growth in both:

• Prover Participation: Over 278,000 users expressed interest in running Provers, and in Phase II, we’ve onboarded more than 4,000 high-performance participants to generate proof tasks.

• Verifier Surge: Verifier interests exploded, with a +1132.5% increase from Phase I. 186,739 Verifiers were actively contributing to network security.
• Mobile Accessibility: We launched a mobile version to allow users to easily verify proofs with just one tap, making it more accessible than ever for anyone to contribute to the network.

Introducing the Dual Token Model: $CYS and$CGT

A major focus of Phase II was the introduction and testing of our new token model designed to optimize network incentives and governance:

• $CYS (Cysic Token): The network’s core token, used for transactions and gas fees. It will be listed on exchanges after the Token Generation Event (TGE).
• **$CGT (Cysic Governance Token):** A non-transferable governance token used for voting and network participation. A specific amount of$CGT is required to become a validator and contribute to block production.

Throughout Phase II, we issued 2,476,836 CGT tokens to participants, allowing them to take part in network governance and staking, and earn rewards in $CYS. Testnet tokens were distributed as a way to engage participants and will be convertible into real tokens post-TGE.

Staking and Delegation Mechanics

Phase II introduced a dynamic staking and delegation system, enabling deeper participation in network security and governance:

• Convert Tokens: Seamlessly swap between $CYS and$CGT for optimal flexibility.
• Become a Validator: Hold the required $CGT to validate blocks and secure the network.
• Stake & Earn: Stake $CGT to validators and earn rewards in$CYS.
• Delegate veTokens: Users could delegate veScroll and veAleo to receive $CGT.

By engaging in these activities, participants earned valuable testnet rewards, contributing directly to the network’s security and growth.

Building a Community Through Referrals

Our Referral Program proved to be a powerful tool in driving community growth. Through word-of-mouth and collaborative efforts, we saw:

• 285,232 new users join via invites from Phase I participants.
• Team-based rewards, giving instant 15% earnings from your team’s Verifier and Prover activities.
• Level-up bonuses: Unlock additional rewards and reduced pool fees as you advance.
